After losing the finals against the Toronto Raptors, the Golden State Warriors failed to make the playoffs in the next season as Stephen Curry only played 6 games due to injury. At the height of their struggles at the beginning of the decade, the Warriors drafted the 7’1” center, James Wiseman. The Warriors drafted him as the second overall pick hoping to change their fortunes at the center position.

However, Wiseman has yet to live up to the sky-high expectations set by Dubs fans at the start of his career. But as per recent updates, he will have to prove his worth elsewhere.

Despite only playing 3 games for the University of Memphis, James Wiseman found himself playing for the Golden State Warriors. The All-American center was set to be a franchise player at the center position. But after three lackluster seasons, Wiseman will have to prove his worth to get back in the rotations. Moreover, Kerr emphasized that he would be there for an extended period of 10 days.
