The undefeated run of the Milwaukee Bucks continues as they defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis dominated the Nets’ defense throughout the match, as they dropped 63 points together. Following the game, the Nets were heavily criticized, prompting the Pistons legend Isiah Thomas to blast Kevin Durant. And it created havoc among NBA fans.

During his 39 minutes on the court, Kevin Durant scored 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. However, it wasn’t enough to get the team anywhere near Bucks’ score, as they were defeated by 11 points, the final score being 110-99. The Nets’ defense was one of their primary weaknesses. Throughout the game, the Bucks’ offense was unstoppable. For now, almost everyone in the Nets’ fanbase sees Ben Simmons as the team’s main vulnerability.

In terms of defense, the Nets had 7 offensive rebounds, which was half of what the Bucks produced.

Isiah Thomas’ comments on Kevin Durant created a rift among fans

Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas shared his views about Kevin Durant. He said, “He used to get 30 and that meant he dominated the game. Now his 30 is just 30.” This statement was made because, in spite of Durant’s efforts, the team couldn’t get a win. It caused turmoil among the supporters.

NBA Central posted a tweet with Isiah Thomas’ comments. In no time, the fans took over the comment section. Some were criticizing Thomas for his remarks while others pointed out the flaws in the Nets’ defense. One of the fans said, “Trade LeBron for Ben Simmons.” Currently, the Tweet has more than 8.5k likes and over 1k retweets full of fan reactions.

The fans seem disappointed and furious. Besides, the Nets also lost against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. Furthermore, the Mavs won in the overtime, the final score was 125-129. . As mentioned above, their poor defense continues to haunt them. Durant again dropped a 37-pointer but was overshadowed by Luka Doncic’s 41-pointer.
