The Chicago Bulls were the surprise story of the NBA at the start of the season. They took the league by storm as their new signings clicked instantly and they were hot right out of the gates. DeMar DeRozan was playing like an MVP and Zach Lavine finally had a co-star he could count on. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso were key signings, and they developed into one of the best defensive backcourts in the NBA.

However, all that changed when Grayson Allen took out Caruso in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Caruso injured his wrist and was expected to miss 6-8 weeks. The Bulls have not been the same without him. They had also lost Lonzo Ball to a knee injury a few days before Caruso got hurt. Lavine also missed a few games, but he is back now.

Caruso was expected to return in March, but his head coach has given a major update. He says that Caruso would require to undergo strength conditioning before returning. That means that he will miss more time than expected and may not return until April. This is not good news for the Bulls as they battle for the top spot in the East.

Despite his injury, Caruso has been making strides off the court. He was recently announced as the new correspondent for The Old Man And Three show. It was also announced a few days back that he will be joined by Mikal Bridges.

NBA Twitter is in pain as the Chicago Bulls has a huge announcement

The NBA Fans were not happy to learn that Caruso will miss more time. They wanted to see him back on the court as soon as possible, as he was playing the best basketball of his career.
