Twitter Reacts as NBA 2K22 Trailer Disrespects Giannis Antetokounmpo by Turning a Blind Eye Towards Bucks

The year 2021 belonged to the heroism of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. Ahead of the 2020-21 season, the Bucks were certain about staying a top-three team, but winning the whole thing was something unimaginable. And yet, somehow, the NBA 2K team thought they didn’t deserve a place in their latest trailer.

Yes, the recently launched NBA2K22 gameplay trailer has completely rejected the Bucks and Co. This dismissal of the reigning NBA champions did not go well with the fans and attracted strong reactions.

Twitter went crazy over the NBA2K’s insult of Milwaukee Bucks

The NBA2K22 trailer started with Devin Booker and that just worsened their case. How could they include DBook & Chris Paul from the losing team and turn a blind eye towards the winners?

The otherwise appealing video covered Steph Curry staring at Ja Morant, Zion Williamson beating his chest, Russell Westbrook in the Lakers jersey, Kevin Durant with a poster dunk, and other stars. It also housed WNBA’s Candace Parker, Joel Embiid’s animated block, Trae Young‘s ice-cold three, and Anthony Davis’s crazy assist.

But the surprising factor was the inclusion of Cade Cunningham, LaMelo Ball & Kelly Oubre Jr while rejecting the Bucks’ trio altogether. To sum up, it was a grave mistake. Take a look at how Twitter reacted to it –

Back in 2019, the Greek Freak was the cover athlete of the NBA2K. In fact, the cover design had everything that was personal and important for the Milwaukee hero. It talked about his love for his brothers, mother Veronica, father Charles, and his loyalty, among other things.
