As usual, fans had different reactions to the Kevin Love-James’ interactions. Some looked at it as a reunion of sorts. Love has played four NBA finals with James, including their 2016 Championship run against the Golden State Warriors. The two certainly shared a bond, which is visible as Love holds James in a headlock as some sort of revenge.

Did James regret the dunk over Love?
While fans had their fun sharing the clip on Twitter, James regretted the move a little. “I hate it had to be him. So I?m gonna take that one out of my posters, I didn?t like that one because that is my guy,” James said. The four-time NBA Champion also added that when he saw Love there, he hoped he would move.
At the end of the day, no one would want to dunk like that over a friend.

That being said, James finished the game with 38 points, while Love scored eight points off the bench.
Though the Lakers have won two out of their last three games, they are still placed ninth in the Western Conference. This qualifies the team for the play-in tournament, and not for the playoffs. With some games left, fans are hoping for more wins leading up to the playoffs.
