Following the Game 7 loss against the Boston Celtics, Joel Embiid and the Sixers fell short of making it to the Conference Finals yet again. Blowing a 3-2 lead, the Sixers have already started to make crucial changes for the upcoming season, one of which was the firing of head coach Doc Rivers. James Harden’s potential involvement in that decision has come to light and fans aren’t impressed with The Beard.
Yet again, the 2018 MVP is going viral on social media. Just a couple of days ago, Harden had shared an Instagram story calling out the so-called ‘experts’.

James Harden is confusing many at the moment. The Sixers star opted out of his player option a few days back. The 6’5 guard made it clear that he wanted to test free agency, thus his future with the Sixers is still a question mark. However, Harden seems to be involved in a crucial change the Sixers made recently.
Doc Rivers had been a part of the organization since 2020 after his tenure with the Los Angeles Clippers came to an end. Though the Sixers were a top-seed team this year, they are yet to clear the drought of passing the second round in the postseason. Even with the MVP in their team, the Sixers went on to disappoint their fans. Ultimately, it led to the firing of Doc Rivers. Surprisingly, the Semi-Final loss was not the only reason.

Fans call The Beard a “toxic superstar”
The 33-year-old left the Brooklyn Nets after failing to accommodate last year, leaving his former teammate Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Now, several reports revealed there is a good chance of Harden leaving Embiid and the Sixers.
While his future with the team is still a doubt, his participation in forcing changes has stunned the fans. It has even led them to call the Sixers’ guard a “toxic superstar“. Here are some of the fans’ reactions to the latest news:
This man is the most toxic super star in the league. Everywhere he goes it’s always somebody else’s fault. And his boyfriend Morey continues to let him do what he wants. There’s never any accountability.
