However, two years before losing nearly 100 pounds in weight Chuck had to work out for his daughter’s wedding. The NBA legend loves his daughter and he like any father, was ready to work out for his daughter.

Despite the appeal of basketball, Christiana opted to pursue a career in the corporate world instead. One week before his daughter’s wedding, the 1993 MVP joined the virtual conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, the host extended his congratulations to Charles Barkley on his daughter’s upcoming wedding, acknowledging it as a significant milestone.

On being asked by Kimmel, “Mr. Barkley, this is the big weekend for you, because your daughter is getting married this weekend,” Barkley, visibly thrilled, shared his excitement for the event and expressed his deep love and pride for his only child. In his lighthearted manner, Barkley playfully added that he hoped this would be his daughter’s one and only marriage, bringing laughter to the conversation. The heartfelt exchange showcased Barkley’s genuine happiness and his role as a proud father on this joyous occasion.

Chuk said, “My only child, the most important thing in my life is getting married Saturday. I’m so excited for her, hoping this will be the only one too.” Chuck clarified by saying, “I told her, this gotta work because this is the only one that I’m paying for.

During their conversation, Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t help but notice Charles Barkley’s physical transformation and asked him if he had been working out. Barkley humorously responded, acknowledging the visible change in his appearance. Chuck responded, “Yeah, I’ve been working out hard because apparently, they gotta pick me up in a chair.”

A Jewish tradition that the NBA legend had to take part in. However, in a playful manner, Barkley added to the conversation by saying, “I need all Jewish people on deck because, you know, I can only get so skinny by Saturday.” His comment was meant as a humorous reference to the traditional Jewish holiday of Passover, which involves dietary restrictions and the avoidance of certain foods.

Chuck is working on losing more weight

The 11x NBA All-star claims he lost a lot of weight thanks to a popular diabetes medication. During an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Barkley, 60, disclosed his weight-loss method and dropped from 352 to 290 pounds. However, Barkley has been prioritizing his health and taking proper care of himself. He managed to shed nearly 62 pounds of weight, showcasing his commitment to a healthier lifestyle. This transformation not only reflects his dedication but also serves as an inspiration to others who may be on a similar journey toward improved well-being.
