The Eastern Conference Finals had everyone at the edge of their seats with both the teams winning 1 game each. Game 3 surely was crucial for both of them and thus Celtics and Heat were ready to give everything they had. Unfortunately, Jayson Tatum was seen leaving the court in the fourth quarter with 5 minutes remaining after suffering a shoulder injury.

Tatum fell on the floor while handling the ball and then failed to get up for quite a while. He did return back to the floor after going to the locker room and receiving some medical treatment; despite his return, there is no certainty about his participation in the next few crucial games.

What went down where and how.

During the last quarter of Game 3, Tatum was being guarded by Victor Oladipo with the Celtics player having the ball. Oladipo attempted a steal and may have hurt Tatum’s shoulder in doing so. After that, the latter was seen on the floor for a few minutes while the game went on.

Later he hurried back to the Celtics locker room and Payton Pritchard replaced him on the court. Tatum clearly did not really have a star-like game 3 with him scoring just 10 Pts along with 4 assists despite playing nearly 41 minutes. It would be crucial to watch the injury reports coming as a lot depends on the 24 year old star.
