This year’s All-Star weekend is set to take place in Salt Lake City, Utah. The year is special, for it marks 30 years since the first All-Star event was hosted in Utah in 1993. With all the excitement piling up, the weekend’s festivities started on a tricky note.

As per the NBA website, the weekend events will be the Jordan Rising Stars game, Kia Skills Challenge, Slam Dunk contest, and the 3-point contest. The weekend will end with the All-Star game between Team LeBron James and Team Giannis Antetokounmpo. As players make their way to Utah, a YouTuber with 3 million subscribers got fans even more excited for the weekend.

Tristan Jess’ trick shot to start the festivities

Earlier in the day, Tristan Jess, a social media influencer and basketball enthusiast, posted a video on his Instagram handle. The video featured Tristan attempting a trick shot at the Utah Jazz arena. The youngster spun and threw the ball on the court, aiming at the basket from way up in the stands. The ball bounced on the paint and moved into the basket. The few people on the court were in awe of the shot.
