NBA superstar LeBron James has been the face of the league ever since he first stepped into it. James came to the league as a star straight out of high school. And subsequently, his stardom grew every day as he hit the ground running. So far, he has won four NBA titles, two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and one with the Los Angeles Lakers. He has also won four regular season MVP awards, four Finals MVP awards, and the Rookie of the Year award.

The billionaire came from very humble beginnings in Akron, Ohio. His mother, Gloria James was just sixteen when he was born. She struggled to raise her son as a single parent since James’ father was not around. So the young James had to grow up in a hurry and be the man of the house. He found solace in sports and soon became a superstar in football and basketball.

In fact, became one of the most talented high school basketball players in the country. James and his team dominated every game and dismantled their opponents convincingly. He then declared for the 2003 NBA draft and eventually provided his mother a comfortable living.

LeBron James opened up about being a good father?

In 2018, LeBron James and NBA superstar Kevin Durant sat down for a discussion for the ‘Uninterrupted’ show. It was the night before the Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors’ last regular season game. During the chat, Durant wanted to know how James tries to be a better father and a husband every day.

“What really helped me out becoming a parent is what I went through as a kid. Not having a dad. I had to learn s**t on my own. And when I had to become the man of the household like five years old.” James said. He then added, “I wanted to have kids early to prove to my father that, ‘The way you did it, was the absolute wrong way.’ I wanted to break the mold to where I want to be there and give him all the life skills man.”

The four-time MVP has three children with his wife Savannah James. Two boys Bronny and Bryce and a daughter Zhuri James. Bronny and Bryce have followed in the footsteps of their father pursuing basketball. They have become two of the most popular young basketball players in the country.
