Jayson Tatum put up a story hinting at the move of Marcus Smart away from the Celtics. In the story, Jayson Tatum posted a picture of him and Marcus Smart embracing each other, surrounded by fans and the audience. The picture is from when he and Smart won the Eastern Conference Finals in 2022 with the Boston Celtics.

He wrote, “My dawg Forever grateful for you and how you pushed me and helped me along this journey. Never change keep being you, one of a kind can never be replaced! My brotha for life We gone link back up one day and get us one no doubt about that! Until then, Much love Brodie!”
