In the clash of the big guns, two of the best point guard went going head to head. Luka Doncic took on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in an NBA thriller. Dallas Mavericks shocked the Warriors by pulling off a miracle comeback in the fourth quarter. However, their star player, Doncic, was left bleeding after an incident with Andrew Wiggins.

With the Warriors, one of the main reasons they could rise to one of the top teams in the NBA is because of Wiggins. The Warriors star emerged as a big-time player with Klay out at the beginning of the season. He made it to his first All-Star game as a starter, putting up 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. The Warriors are the second-best team in the NBA with a record of 43-17. However, his recent clash with Luka may not paint Wiggins as the good guy.

Wiggins elbows Luka Doncic?

After missing a step back mid-range shot, the Warriors got the offensive rebounds and reset their offense. This is when Wiggins made the cut to the basket and chose to take the ball to the rim. Doncic was right there to challenge him. However, while going for the layup, Wiggins’ elbow hit Doncic right in the face and we saw the Dallas star go to the ground. After the play, Luka was left bleeding from the mouth.

It is still unclear whether the elbow from Wiggins was intentional or not. With no history of him doing so, it is tough to tell. But with the game, like the hit on Doncic, the Warriors went right through the Mavericks. However, the Mavericks turned things around.
