Stephen Curry and Seth Curry’s journey to the NBA has been nothing short of spectacular. While one has cemented himself as one of the greatest players to ever grace the NBA court, the other has worked his way up to become one of the most valued role players today.

Steph has a considerable advantage over his brother in terms of talent and notoriety; however, the two share one lethal trait: deadeye shooting. The Currys have made it big out of their catapult-like shooting abilities. While Steph still has a substantial talent edge in that aspect, Seth has also paved his path to becoming a respected sharpshooter today.

Dell and Sonya Curry, their parents, have had an enormous influence on their ascension to success. They have raised great kids through sheer hard work and have passed that attribute on to their children.

Dell and Sonya’s overall journey would have been challenging yet breathtaking to see their kids put in the work and reach the pinnacle of professional basketball. They previously discussed that journey and how it was to raise Steph and Seth. During this, mother Sonya disclosed something that compelled a young Seth to resort to violence against his brother.

Mother Sonya expressed how wonderful it is that their journeys have been so different yet to the same destination. She went on to remark that they both gained a great deal from one other as they grew up.

Sonya was then asked how was Seth as a youngster. She said that he was quiet but also very silly. She went on to say that he used to watch Steph and would constantly want to outdo him, as is usual of the younger sibling.

The interviewer then asked how was the competition between the two youngsters when they played against each other. Following this, Sonya went on to say that Seth used to accuse Steph of cheating which even led to them getting into fights. “Seth would say, ‘not fair’ and we’re always calling fouls for Stephen,” Sonya said.

“But, he was tough…he would go at him all the time and they would sometimes fight. They would sometimes get into rumbles on the court,” she added.

Fair to say, the competition between Stephen and Seth Curry was fierce growing up. And it shows in their fervent passion for the game today.

While Steph’s competitive drive is well-known around the NBA, Seth as well never backtracks from a challenge.

Stephen Curry has won four NBA championships while playing for the Golden State Warriors.  Seth, on the other hand, has been a journeyman but has been a crucial role player everywhere he has been.
