Curry is well on track to surpass Ray Allen for the most threes ever made in the history of the NBA. Despite breaking many records this year, Curry fell short of one record set by a legend.

In the first 25 games of the NBA season, Steph Curry had 741 points. Only Michael Jordan has more points than Steph Curry for a player above the age of 32 in the NBA.

Surely, surpassing Michael Jordan would’ve been a real feather in the cap of Steph Curry. However, given the success Curry has enjoyed over the course of his career, he will be happy to be mentioned in the same breath as ‘His Airness’.

Curry entered the NBA as the 7th pick in the 2009 NBA draft. Since then, he has gone on to break records, win titles, and change the face of the NBA.

Thanks to Curry and other mercurial shooters like Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Damian Lillard, the NBA has now become more focused on 3-point shooting. Curry revolutionized the nature of the sport.

Steph Curry is the only unanimous MVP in the history of the NBA. As the Warriors went on a historic 73-9 run in the 2015-16 NBA season, Curry was named the MVP by all voters. In addition to this, Curry is a three-time NBA champion, two-time MVP, six-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA first team, and the NBA scoring champion in 2016.

However, his performances have not been enough to keep the Warriors successful. The loss of Klay Thompson in pre-season was huge, and the Warriors will now focus on getting a playoff spot this season thanks to Curry’s performances.

Can Curry lead the Warriors to the Playoffs this season? He desperately needs his teammates to step up. While Curry is an offensive juggernaut, he cannot be the only attacking threat on the team.

But if they can help him, the Warriors are a threat to any team, having shown that against the Clippers and the Lakers.
