Stephen Curry is one of the most iconic stars in the NBA. The former two-time MVP is one of the most famous stars in the league and has found great success so far. Curry is a three-time NBA champion and a multiple-time All-Star. He is credited as the greatest shooter of all time and for revolutionizing the NBA by making it more three-pointer-oriented. And now, he is furthering his own brand.

Stephen Curry explains his new logo

Curry is the signature athlete for Under Armour and is one of the few NBA stars to have their own brand of shoe, alongside Michael Jordan. The Curry Brand launched a new logo recently, and it is a mix of several important things. In fact, Curry has included several elements of his life, including his signature and his iconic three-point shot.

Curry said, “The brand logo is the flare off of a lot of different inspirations. My signature being one, you got the S, you got the C. Anyone who has seen my signature knows I do the big S and the C in there. But it’s all a play on the three symbol that is a huge part of my game. And something that I’ve transformed on the court in terms of what it means to shoot the three, volume, efficiency.”

Curry including different facets into his brand

Curry is also a man of faith. He has spoken about his faith on several occasions, and on his new logo, he has included an arc to symbolize a halo. This is because he wanted to pay tribute to his faith, and the role it has played in his success on the NBA court.

Curry added, “I got the higher arc here, a nod to the halo effect, drawing inspiration and purpose from my faith and just the overall presence within the game. It’s kind of a cool little collaboration of all those different inspirations.”
