The NBA Summer League is in full swing as young players and free agents try to impress their respective teams. Lottery picks from the 2022 NBA Draft have been showing out in the presence of superstars. One of the names doing the rounds has been Chet Holmgren, the 7’1″ giant who was drafted 2nd overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the recently concluded draft.
He made a stellar debut against the Utah Jazz where he set a single-game Summer League record with 6 blocks. However, the Minnesota native was humbled in his latest game by an undrafted player from the 2019 draft class. Aric Holman, the 6’9″ forward who has played in the G-League and the German League, posterized Holmgren in front of many superstars.

The Oklahoma City Thunder battled against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night in front of a jam-packed crowd in Las Vegas. While the Rockets won a close game 90-88, the highlight of the game came from Aric Holman. The former Mississippi State guard dunked on Chet Holmgren, which left the commentators and the crowd in disbelief.

Holmgren had a decent game as he recorded 12 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Meanwhile, Holman played just over 10 minutes but he definitely left his mark on the game.
Ja Morant, Kyrie Irving, and others soaked in the Summer League feeling
NBA superstars Ja Morant and Kyrie Irving were present in the arena to witness Holmgren being posterized. It wasn’t the first time either of the superstar point guards had been present at this year’s Summer League. Former Rockets center, Clint Capela was also seen at the Las Vegas arena along with legend Dikembe Mutombo.
