AD had a tremendous game in the Lakers’ previous fixture against the Spurs, but this time around, he had just 17 points while going 6-of-15 from the floor. Moving forward, the Lakers would expect more from their All-Star big man. However, Davis has already proved his worth in the last season.
He led the team in scoring while knocking up some big shots in the playoffs. So far this season, he is averaging 21.7 points per game which he would like to improve as the season proceeds. With this victory against the Grizzlies, the Lakers are now 5-2 this season and are finally looking like the defending champions.
