WATCH: Chris Paul Scolds Landry Shamet After He Went Coast to Coast Against the Lakers

After last season, everyone noticed the big change in the Phoenix Suns thanks to Chris Paul. They are suddenly more alive than ever and in the 2021-22 NBA season, they are currently sitting at the top of the Western Conference.

In fact, they were inches away from winning the NBA championship last season. Paul and Devin Bookers’ partnership deserved the credit.

Now, the other Suns’ teammate should know better than to not listen to the veteran superstar. While playing the Los Angeles Lakers, Landry Shamet got an earful from Paul because of a foolish play against the purple and gold.

The Suns were the obvious choice of winners even before the game started. Not only because they have proved to be a better team, but also because they have the advantage of a healthy roster.

The purple and gold went head to head with the Suns, giving fans hope that they could pull off the unthinkable. However, the Lakers have been inconsistent, and their inability to keep up the rigor in the third and fourth quarters led to their 108-90 loss to Phoenix.

Lakers continue to slide down

After facing another defeat, the Lakers record is now 16-16, and have lost three consecutive games. LeBron James finished with a 34-point performance and Westbrook had 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. As a whole, the team had a poor shooting night.

On top of that, they have Anthony Davis‘ defense missing. Unfortunately, they have to make do without it, at least four weeks from now until there is an update on his MCL injury.
