WATCH: Darvin Ham Rushes on Court to Confront Refs as LeBron James Screams in Frustration

The NBA returned to action after a break and it was an intercity matchup in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Los Angeles Clippers and they looked to end their three-game losing streak. But things weren’t looking good at the half as head coach Darvin Ham ran out on the court to confront the refs after LeBron James received another no-call on his drive.

The Lakers came into the game with one of the worst records in the league and they looked to change that. LeBron James returned to the lineup after missing the previous game against the Utah Jazz. And he started off well as he made his first six shots. The Lakers were also hanging around at the halfway mark as they were trailing by just two points.

But they started the second half poorly and the Los Angeles Lakers were livid at the refs. Darvin Ham ran out on the court as his star LeBron kept getting hit on drives and the refs did not make any calls.

The Clippers beat the Lakers again

The Clippers continue to dominate the matchup against the Lakers as they won 114-101. This win marks the ninth straight win over the Lakers and the second of the season. The Lakers made multiple runs, but they failed to sustain the momentum throughout the game.

The game looked over after the first quarter as the Los Angeles Clippers opened up a 17-point lead. But the Lakers kept fighting back, and they were level in the second quarter, and they were trailing by just 2 points at the half. In the third quarter, the Clippers again went on a run but the Lakers closed the gap in a back-and-forth game.

The Clippers went on another run and opened up another double-digit lead. The Lakers looked to come back again but their ploy was foiled and the Clippers held on until the end. LeBron James finished with 30 points in his return but he left the game in the fourth quarter with an injury. Paul George top-scored for the Clippers with 29 points.
