One of the most outspoken NBA athletes is Kevin Durant. The Brooklyn Nets star is known for his heated exchanges on Twitter with analysts and fans criticizing him. In the recent Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets match, Durant had a small face-off with the Bucks fans.

While the Nets dominated the match against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, the fans took to roasting Durant. The cameras captured a heated yet funny banter between the fans and Durant.

Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks and currently 2 of the most prominent teams in the eastern conference. While the Bucks are looking good to challenge for the double this year, the Nets are slowly getting back. After dominating the league in the initial phases of the season, the Nets got into a brutal losing streak which put them out of the playoff spot.

After trading James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Nets are slowly picking up pace. Despite being injured, Kevin Durant was seen courtside during the Bucks vs Nets game.
What happened courtside left the audience in splits. Durant got into an altercation regarding the title chances for the Nets. The altercation quickly turned funny when a fan commented on the shoe size of Durant.
The fan said, “You can’t do that to us again.” When KD commented, ” This year I’m just going to win it.” The fans turned the conversation on its head by saying, “You gotta get that 1-inch smaller shoe!”

The context behind the joke is game 7 of the playoffs last year. Despite the Bucks winning the game narrowly during overtime, KD almost got Brooklyn the win.

His feet were barely on the three-point line and the shot counted for a two. Thanks to this, the Bucks went on to win the game and eventually the NBA title.
Kyrie Irving dictates the play
Despite Durant grabbing all the attention outside the court, Kyrie Irving stole the show during the match. Irving scored a season-high 38 points during the match and led the Nets to a 126-123 win over Milwaukee. He has been sensational recently, scoring at least 27 points in his last four games.
This win got the Nets some crucial points as they push for the playoffs and possibly the title. The Bucks, on the other hand, have lost four of their last five games.
