WATCH: Warriors’ Stephen Curry Nods in Approval as LeBron James Converts Tough Layup

The play-in tournament is underway in the league tonight. After three fantastic games, the much awaited matchup between LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers and the Steph Curry led Golden State Warriors is live right now and it’s safe to say it hasn’t disappointed.

Despite having much more star power than the Warriors, the Lakers initially struggled in the game. With LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder missing significant number of shots and some brilliant defending from the Dubs, the Warriors took a commanding lead of 55-42 and looked in cruise control of the game.

But the Lakers have rallied back their troops in the third quarter. With some excellent defending, the champions have forced multiple turnovers for the Warriors and have cut the lead down to only two points trailing 77-79.

Steph Curry appreciates tough layup by LeBron James

LeBron James had the best of nights so far. Especially given the fact that Bron had tweaked his ankle in his last game, the superstar struggled massively in the first half, missing multiple shots.

But the third quarter has certainly seen a massive improvement by LBJ and the Lakers. With James cooking in all cylinders, the 36-year-old has had multiple dimes and has scored some big points for the champions.

His form has continued in the fourth quarter too. Just as the quarter started, the Lakers gave the ball to LeBron to initiate the offense. With the second unit of the Warriors in the game, LBJ had a better matchup with Joan Toscano Anderson guarding him.

Going in iso-ball with the JTA, Bron drove to the basket and made a tough layup. Steph Curry was certainly impressed with Bron’s tough layup and nodded in appreciation take a look.

While LeBron is filling up his stat sheet with 18 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds, Curry hasn’t shyed away from the challenge scoring an insane 35 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
