22-year-old Ja Morant has shown maturity well beyond his age. Carrying the bulk of Memphis’ workload this season, he averages nearly 25 points per game. Pacy, physical, and brilliant from the rim and long range, Morant has been pitted as the next Kobe Bryant by many. However, Monday night brought about a heated exchange for the prodigy, as he was involved in a scuffle with a Bulls player.

On his social media, Ja has previously stated that if provoked, he will not back down from a fight. This was evidently the case on Monday, when the Grizzlies overcame a challenging outing against the Chicago Bulls. Top scoring on the night again, Memphis’ premier point guard was in rampant form. Characteristically, the 4th quarter saw some baffling exchanges on the court. Holding fort against Ja, was 24-year-old Tony Bradley.

Very few defenders can handle the guile of Ja Morant. In one such play, the #12 was headed to the rim deep in the final quarter, when Bradley attempted to stop him. Fouling him in the process, the duo stood face-to-face. In the heated exchange that followed, young Tony held Ja by his jersey for numerous seconds.
