WATCH: James Harden Accidentally Walks Towards Houston Rockets Locker Room In Hilarious Moment

NBA fans refer to James Harden by his popular nickname as ‘The Beard’. The Brooklyn Nets star has enjoyed his fair share of hilarious moments on the basketball court as well off the court. One such moment for Harden arrived in a recent NBA game where he played against his former team Houston Rockets. Fans on Twitter noticed a hilarious moment involving Harden on the court.

A Houston Rockets fan on Twitter posted the video that displayed Harden attempting a three-pointer. After missing the three-pointer attempt, Harden turns to walk off the court in the wrong direction, i.e. towards the Rockets’ locker room. However, he realizes his mistake and spins around to walk towards the Nets’ locker room.

The fan captured the moment at the dying seconds of the 2nd quarter of the game. At the end of the 2nd quarter, the Rockets had outclassed the Nets. The Rockets’ dominant performance could be witnessed through their massive 15 point lead over the Nets. The 2nd quarter finished with the Rockets leading 67-52 against the Nets.

Harden, who started his NBA career in 2009 with the Oklahoma City Thunder, joined the Rockets in 2012. He spent nine years of his NBA career at the Rockets. In 2017, Harden signed a contract extension with the Rockets for four years worth roughly $160 million. Harden won his lone NBA ‘Most Valuable Player’ award that season.

Harden joined the Nets on January 14, 2021.

The Nets and James Harden lose to the Houston Rockets

The Toyota Center witnessed a dominant performance by Houston Rockets as they swatted away the Brooklyn Nets to secure a home win. A 17-8 record for the 2021-22 NBA season ensures that the Nets remain ranked first in the Eastern Conference. This was James Harden’s second visit to Toyota Center since leaving the Rockets and departing for the Nets in January. Kevin Durant was a sore miss for the Nets as they rested the NBA’s leading scorer.

The Nets were led by Harden scoring 25 points and recording an additional 11 rebounds and eight assists. Cameron Thomas added 18 points for the Nets. Eric Gordon tallied 21 points as Garrison Mathews added 19 points for the home side. The State Farm Arena will witness the Nets facing the home team, the Atlanta Hawks.
