Durant loves the sport of football. From being involved with fantasy leagues to playing, Durant has done it all. He even played a game of football with LeBron James once. Hence, it is no surprise he went to the MetLife Stadium, the home of the New York Giants.

It was here that he met up with legendary quarterback Eli Manning, who played for the Giants.

As the two New York stars met up at the Stadium, Manning took hold of the football. It was a great sight to see two New York legends get on the field together, let alone combine for a touchdown pass. Surprisingly, Durant believes he could have been in the NFL if he chose to play. He said he could have been a wide receiver given his tall stature and ability to run all the routes.

If Durant did choose to be a wide receiver and make it to football, Manning and he would have been best of friends. During his professional career, Manning paired up with one of the best wide receivers in Odell Beckham Jr with the New York Giants. Being a talented quarterback of the Manning family, he and Odell became one of the best pairs in the NFL.

The duo played in 59 games together. In that time, the two combined for 44 touchdowns. Odell caught 390 catches for a total of 5476 yards with Eli as the quarterback force. However, despite being such a force, the duo always fell short in the playoffs and couldn’t win a Super Bowl together.
