Kawhi Leonard suffered a horrific injury in the Clippers-Nuggets game, when he took an unintentional elbow to the face from teammate Serge Ibaka, leaving him with a bloody face. The injury was a scary moment, as Kawhi walked off the court and didn’t play the following game out of concussion concerns.

Leonard poked fun at Ibaka after the game, showing that there are no hard feelings between the two. Whenever Ibaka and Leonard play together, they have some hilarious moments together. Perhaps none are funnier than the Ibaka-Leonard ‘What it do baby!’ meme that became popular last year.

Ibaka and Leonard – Reunited again

But comedy isn’t the only thing the duo are known for. When they take the court, the two are extremely focused and play well alongside each other. Leonard and Ibaka first played together in Toronto, when Leonard was traded to the Raptors from San Antonio. His first and only season was a great success, as Leonard could lead the Raptors to the playoffs.

In the playoffs, Leonard and Ibaka put in several good performances all the way to the NBA Finals, where they beat the Golden State Warriors to win the franchise’s first NBA championship. Leonard even won the Finals MVP for his performances.

In the following off-season, Leonard left Toronto to sign with the LA Clippers. He was paired up with All-Star Paul George as the Clippers made a potential championship run. However, they were shockingly eliminated by the Denver Nuggets.

In the off-season, Leonard convinced Ibaka to sign with the Clippers as a free agent. Reunited again, the Clippers will hope that this duo can lead them to their first NBA Championship.
