Speaking on the eve of the LA Lakers‘ game against the Memphis Grizzlies, he was discussing who had the best floater in the NBA. What he did not know that someone from the media had brought with them a ‘fake fart toy’ to play a prank on him.

“Me and Trez (Montrezl Harrell) have an argument about who has the best floater as a big. You know, my floaters, I’ll bring it out more for you guys but…” At this juncture, somebody made a gas noise. A confused Anthony said“Are you serious? Did you guys hear that?”

When told that it was a prank and that they had a gas-squeezer with them, Anthony Davis burst out laughing and said, “Damn, shit…”

Anthony Davis is not new to the pranking world

While Anthony was on the receiving end of a prank this time, he is more habituated to playing the clown himself. On April Fool’s Day 2018, he shot a fake video of him shaving his trademark ‘Uni-Brow’ while he was still plying his trade for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Firstly, he admitted that he had wanted to make this ‘drastic change’ for a while. He had been thinking of shaving his brow for a while. Then he applied a little shaving cream and took a razor.

Here, the camera was cut off for a few seconds. Once the camera came back on, the unibrow was gone. “New A.D.,” he said. “New brow. Let’s get it.” However, he soon owned up to his prank, and his unibrow lived to see another day.

It is great that Anthony is so free-spirited along with being a world-class player.
