The Los Angeles Lakers are in a tough situation right now. Anthony Davis and LeBron James, their two star players, are both out indefinitely nursing significant injuries. This will force the rest of the team to pick up their productivity to compensate for the two All-Stars. But despite their injuries, the dynamic front-court duo came to support the Lakers at their game.

The Lakers suffered a loss to the Phoenix Suns tonight. Despite being hurt and unable to play, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis came to Staples Center to support their teammates and give them some guidance. The two players were seen sitting and talking together, with Davis even handing James an iPad with what one can assume had some kind of gameplay footage.

The absence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be massive for the Lakers. The two are by far the best players on the team. The injury to Davis was a big blow to them, but LeBron James was able to galvanize the team to perform better. But his own injury has hamstrung the Lakers even further going into the final stretch of the season.

The Lakers will be looking to keep themselves afloat during Davis’ and James’ recovery. If the team can continue to get a few wins, they will feel confident to secure a good seed by the time James and Davis can return.

Players like Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Dennis Schroder, and Alex Caruso will have to step up their productivity for the Lakers to keep their spot.

LeBron and AD had been carrying the team

James had been playing at an MVP level prior to his injury. He was averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.9 assists. And recently, he was carrying the Lakers’ offensive load while Davis continued to recover from his injury. However, if the Lakers can keep form, the injury to these two could be a blessing, as they would be fresh going into the playoffs this year.
