Amidst the non-stop 2021 free agency coverage on Twitter this week, a wholesome moment on one of the NBA’s most popular families is doing the rounds. But then again, it’s not every day that you got 6-year-old Zhuri James setting the Twitterverse ablaze. In what seems to be a candid moment on camera, Zhuri looked engrossed in a photo shoot, catching dad LeBron James in action on the hardwood.

James is the quintessential family man of the modern NBA era. Even with a schedule as busy as his, LeBron has always found the time and energy for his kids. Whether it be attending Bronny’s biggest high school game yet, or making time for Bryce and Zhuri, the King is like most proud fathers out there.

Zhuri was trending on Twitter as Overtime dropped the video of her working the magic on the DSLR. And in a moment capturing the engrossed 6-year-old in action, the cameraman may have the recording of the year.

James’ daughter appears to be courtside, with a practice at a basketball camp likely running in the background. With other members of the James Gang, including LeBron, his mother Gloria and his son Bronny around, Zhuri had a field day at Hawk Hoops basketball camp in Western California.

Her father, the King, wasn’t far from the action either, as he took to Twitter, celebrating what could be Zhuri’s second career option, if she chooses not to follow in dad to the basketball court.

In fact, LeBron’s movie Space Jam: A New Legacy revolved around this very concept. It depicted the societal reality, while focusing on fixing a broken father-son bond owing to conflict over career choices. And even though the movie’s basketball action has been criticised, it packs a moral punch.
