After suffering an embarrassing loss, the Los Angeles Lakers made amends. They defeated Oklahoma City Thunder in a dominating fashion as they improve to 14-13 for the season. LeBron James led the way once again in his first game against the Thunder this season.

However, he almost had a fight with Luguentz Dort after the ‘King’ pushed him off.

In the first two encounters, OKC shocked the Lakers. They made two incredible comebacks on the road and at their own house. 26 and 19 point comebacks against the purple and gold were their only two wins for the initial part of the season. However, the Lakers lacked James in the lineup due to injury.

Towards the end of the game, James tried to be cheeky by pushing Dort off after fouling him. However, Dort gave it right back to the “Akron Hammer”.

LeBron James almost gets in another fight

James is a calm and nice personality on the floor for the most part. However, this season, he has had his fair share of troubles. From the Isaiah Stewart incident to getting fined for his celebration, James has got the complete package. In the Lakers’ win, he tried to add to his collection after shoving off Dort, who was frustrated while being in the losing situation. Dort retaliated and added a push of his own as well.

That did not change the course of the game. The Lake show came out dominating since the opening whistle and never lost their footing. Despite not having Anthony Davis, the Lakers had an efficient night. LeBron James had yet another 30 point game as he ended with 33 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Avery Bradley joined the party as well, scoring 22 points while shooting 75% from downtown.

Tre Mann was the standout player for the Thunder scoring 19. The duo of Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Dort failed to produce tonight. They combined for just 22 points for the night as OKC fell 116-95. The Lakers got a much needed win while Thunder’s horrific season continues racking up their 17th loss for the season.
