The Staples Center is all alive as the Lakers take on Golden State Warriors. After a horrid preseason, the Lakers will look to change their fate for the regular season. With so many new faces on the squad, this will be the true test. However, it looks like LeBron James came in prepared beforehand as he made a play right after tip-off.

These two teams faced off twice in the preseason. While one contest saw the Warriors dominate, the second was rather close. However, the result did not change. Having two losses to the same team, the Los Angeles Lakers are desperate for revenge. With LeBron, Westbrook and AD all suited up, this will also display their on-court chemistry.

It is crucial to get a good start to the season. Moreover, on opening night, when all eyes are on as the NBA returns after all these months. And it looks like LeBron James came in with a plan.

LeBron James wastes no time

James is heading to 37 as the season gets underway. But his signs of slowing down are yet to reach the surface. His longevity and skill allow him to dominate the game. Another big asset he has is his court vision. Being one of the best passers, he also has a great eye to make and read plays. Likewise, he took no time to show off his passing and vision skills.

As soon as the tip went to the Lakers, LeBron took control of the ball. This is when DeAndre Jordan made his run towards the rim. Unexpectedly, James wasted no time and launched a pass from beyond half court into the veteran center’s hands. Jordan leaped and finished the aerial layup for the first points of the game. With the intensity all set in, this contest is set to be exciting.

While his playmaking came up within the first few seconds, James is putting on an offensive showcase in the opening quarter. He has already racked up 10 points halfway through the first quarter. Moreover, he is yet to miss a single shot going 2-2 from downtown and a perfect 3/3 from the field.
