Things haven’t gone the way the Los Angeles Lakers expected so far. After one of the busiest off seasons in recent times, there were high expectations for them. However, despite having their own ‘Big 3’, the Lakers are yet to add a win. Now, they are going up against a young Memphis Grizzlies team in hopes to get their first win. LeBron James and co. will be desperate to figure things out.
Prior to their game against Memphis, the Lakers have looked dysfunctional on the floor. They have been all over the place with no clear idea of their roles. With Phoenix, the Lakers had a horrible second half, failing to score most of the times. But, with so much on the line, they need to get over these problems and figure things out as a unit.

With Memphis, they have been impressive so far into the season. Despite being young, they are an exciting team to watch when they play. Notably, Ja Morant is oozing with confidence as he keeps on making a name for himself putting up crucial performances every game. Hence, it will be a serious task for the Lakers to go past a well set Grizzles team.

LeBron James gives an injury scare
As the Lakers so positive development from their last game, they could have suffered some serious damage. During a defensive possession, the ‘King’ rolled his ankle and went to the floor. What brought up concerns was the fact that he stayed down for a while. Even the crowd went silent as James was laying down. However, all seems fine as James got back up and nearly got a block flying in from behind right after.

After a shaky start, the Lakers have managed to settle their feet. Under the leadership of LeBron James, they fired back after going down by 10 points early in the first quarter. Both Anthony Davis and LeBron are using the paint to their advantage, combining for 20 points. Westbrook is doing his thing as he has 10 assists and 9 points after a barrage of buckets at the end of the half. The Lakers no go in with a 6 point advantage.
