LeBron James’ LA Lakers battled against Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors. The last time when the two sides met, the Dubs came out victorious. But this time, the Lakers completely overpowered the Dubs.

Since the opening buzzer, the Warriors had no answer for the King and the purple and gold. In fact, they were down by 20 points after just the first quarter. As the game progressed, the Lakers’ lead widened further, thanks to amazing performances from LeBron James and co.

However, the Lakers came on top with some questionable officiating during the entire game. The Warriors players got multiple foul calls in their favor, which could have halted the Lakers’ momentum.

Something similar happened during the third quarter against LeBron. A foul was called on James, but he couldn’t believe that the decision went against him. Naturally, James looked visibly frustrated and gestured at it by raising both of his hands near the officials. However, the refs didn’t overturn the call as James picked up a foul.

Are LeBron James and the Lakers finally back on track?

The month of February was not kind to the purple and gold. After losing both Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder due to injury & COVID-19 protocol, the team struggled to find their form. In fact, they were on a four-game losing streak in that period.

However, since Schroder has been back in the lineup, the Lakers are dominating their opponents once again. Previously, they easily defeated the Blazers, and tonight, it was GSW. The game ended with a scoreline of 117-91 in favor of the Lakers.

Such wins prior to the NBA All-Star weekend will give the team much-needed morale boost to aim for the top seed in the West in the second half of the season.
