Tonight, the two stars went head to head once again and unfortunately, it wasn’t a close game. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers easily defeated the Dubs in magnificent fashion. After the dust settled, the score was 117-91 as the Lakers snapped the Dubs’ winning streak.

After the game, LBJ was giving an interview, but the King paused in between to hug Stephen Curry. It proves that the two have come a long way from their intense rivalry days a few years back. It is safe to assume that they have put that in the past.

Currently, the Lakers are on pace to clinch at least a top three spot in the West. On the other hand, the Warriors are still trying to regain their form, which was last seen in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Prior to LBJ’s arrival in the Western Conference, Curry and James had a phenomenal rivalry. In fact, the two stars’ teams produced arguably the best NBA Finals of all-time back in 2016. While LBJ’s side won that matchup, Curry is still 3-1 against Bron in NBA Finals.

In a way, Curry’s Warriors stopped James from improving his case for becoming the GOAT of basketball. As a result, many suspected that there was some bad blood between the two superstars. But that’s all in the past, as LBJ and Curry have come a long way from those years.

Just looking at them sharing special moments on the pitch is the proof for that. If the two players face off in the NBA playoffs, the game ratings will go through the roof.

However, as of now, the Dubs are not at full strength with Klay Thompson being sidelined for the entire season.
