Luka Doncic has put the whole basketball world in the limelight with his talents. From Europe to the NBA, he has been masterful all around. Moreover, he has used his skills to help his national team, Slovenia, as well.
At just 22, Luka powered Slovenia over Lithuania in the finals of the Olympics qualifying tournament. Slovenia won 96-85 against Lithuania to qualify for their first-ever Olympic basketball berth. Luka was outstanding as he finished with a 31 point triple-double.

During one possession, Luka brought in his ‘Luka Magic’ and produced an outstanding glitch-like pass to his teammate Vlatko Cancar. It looked like he was taking a mid-range shot, but switched it to a pass over his head.
However, this isn’t the first time Luka Doncic has pulled off something like this. His game winner against Memphis this season was one of the wildest shots. Luka’s way of looking at the game and his style of play is unique. That is the reason his name attracts so much praise; he truly is a rare talent.
Luka Doncic guides Slovenia to first Olympics basketball berth
After an impressive playoff series against the Clippers where he averaged 35.7 points a game, Luka went straight to join the Slovenian national team for the Olympics Qualifiers. Likewise, he picked right back up from where he left off as he led the team in points, rebounds and assists.
Moreover, Luka put a huge 30 point triple double to help Slovenia to their first Olympics basketball berth. Luka Doncic proved to be too much for Lithuania as he ended with 31 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. He is averaging 21 points and 10 assists with the Slovenian national team.

Slovenia can be a potential threat to USA with Luka Doncic leading the way. However, Luka is not a lone warrior on this team. Teammates like Mike Tobey, Vlatko Cancar and Zoran Dragic have also added valuable contributions.
