After a disappointing loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last matchup, the Dallas Mavericks just got handed another loss. And this time it was by the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Mavericks are now on a two-game losing streak after this game. But what seemed even more frustrating was the NBA officials ejecting players out of the game for minuscule reasons. And this time it wasn?t just the player but the team?s head coach as well.

The Mavericks lost to the Timberwolves, 116-106. But if the loss wasn?t frustrating enough for fans, the officials’ decision to throw out Luka Doncic from the game might be. Which was followed by Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd?s ejection as well.

During the third quarter of the game, the Timberwolves led the Mavericks 69-95. With two minutes left in the third, the official decided to throw out Luka Doncic for contesting a no-foul call over the last play.

Doncic tried to draw a foul against Timberwolves? Jaden McDaniels on their last play. He bumped into McDaniels which forced him to take an off-balance fadeaway from near the free-throw line.

As Doncic was making his way back to defense, he had some words with official Rodney Mott. And that was all it took for him to call the second technical on the Slovenian basketball star and throw him out of the game.

Luka was clearly in disbelief as he walked over to the bench. But that wasn?t all as Jason Kidd made his way onto the floor. Kidd seemed pretty irate over the official?s decision to eject their star player from the game.

As he continued to argue with the official with the Mavericks coaching staff holding him back, he too ended up getting ejected from the game. And then it wasn?t just Luka Doncic who headed to the bench.

Officials handing out technicals at will

Jason Kidd followed his star player to the locker room after getting ejected from the game. NBA officials have been questioned a lot over the recent calls they have made this season. Recently, Doncic got called for a technical for shouting at his own teammate.

Fans, media, and even players have started to voice their concerns over these calls by NBA officials. Demanding that the league takes notice and probably some action over these technical calls handed out by officials.

Let?s see if the league intervenes over this issue after all.
