The Los Angeles Lakers continued their phenomenal form on the road as they won their eighth straight game away from the Staples Center. By defeating Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, the LeBron James led Lakers regained the first seed in the West.
The world had their eyes on this matchup as LeBron James and Giannis went head to head tonight. While Giannis had a good game, it was King James who came out victorious after the final whistle. Bron scored 34 points in the game while shooting 60% from the 3-point line!
However, LBJ’s near perfect night was scarred by one outrageous blemish. In the 3rd quarter, James was embarrassed by Bucks’ Khris Middleton as he sent the ball in between James’ legs to Jrue Holiday. Knowing Holiday, he finished with an easy layup to cut the Lakers’ lead to 5.

Despite the Bucks coming close to a comeback on several occasions, they could never go over the jump. In the dying seconds of the game, LBJ called the game with a sensational 3-pointer over Brook Lopez.
This is the first time this season that the Bucks have lost back-to-back games. Needless to say, they would want to reduce these setbacks to minor roadblocks rather than long-lasting troubles.
