Defending champions Milwaukee Bucks are dealing with a series of injuries. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton were both out for their recent games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, it was Giannis’ brother, Thanasis, who caught the eye. It was for a near career-ending foul.

The Bucks have had a rocky start to the season so far. After going on an eight-game win streak, they have not been consistent. Losing 3 of their last four games, the defending champions are now fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Moreover, they are not at their full potential.

In their recent loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Thanasis Antetokounmpo was involved in a dangerous play that saw a Cavaliers player in extreme pain.

Bucks-Cavaliers sees a dangerous foul

As the Bucks were struggling to put on points on the board, Thanasis got the ball up the court. However, the Cavaliers’ Dylan Windler stole the ball away and got the clear lane for the easy dunk. Antetokounmpo did not give up on the play and chased him down. Unfortunately, he got there late and sent Windler flying to the ground.

Windler landed awkwardly on his head and remained down for a while. Antetokounmpo did not notice at first, but he went on to check on the injured player as soon as he realized what had happened. Windler played just 6 minutes in the game and did not check back in after the foul.
