On the court, there was no one quite like Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Diesel was the dominant force to come up. It also seems the Big Aristotle is doing his part in promoting women’s basketball.

He recently took the Oliver Ames girls’ basketball team by surprise after he sent them a video before their championship game.

Shaquille O’Neal believes in Oliver Ames

Oliver Ames had a lot of pressure before their championship game. Not many, apart from them, believed in them, as they had not won in over a decade. Hence, when Shaq sent in a video to cheer them on, their confidence went sky high.

The Big Diesel said: “To the Oliver Ames girls basketball team, you made it to the state finals, but we are not done. You know what you gotta do. The task is not done. Let’s get it done.”

This gave the Ames unreal confidence in themselves to go out and deliver. Likewise, Shaq’s inspiration worked as they won the state championship after 12 long years. Various team members said Shaq’s message was an unforgettable moment for them. Following their win, Shaq gave the girls one final surprise.
