After a dream run in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal has taken to a career in entrepreneurship as well as analysis. The Lakers center was one of the greatest that the game has seen, and a hilarious personality off the court. Now, he is part of a handful of shows and podcasts. Recently, the 49-year-old celebrated the festival of Thanksgiving in a hilarious manner. Needless to say, it was a dramatic mess.

During his playing days, O’Neal was an absolute beast. At the time, he was the Lakers‘ most exorbitant signing, but one that paid off in the long run. During the pandemic, Shaq revealed that he initially suffered some setbacks on the personal and physical fronts. Yet, he has been keeping himself busy via multiple talk shows and podcasts. A 4-time NBA champion and 15-time All-star, there is no doubt that the giant is a fan favorite. And this Thanksgiving incident is another rib-tickling reason as to why.

Shaquille O’Neal nearly soils Kenny Smith with pumpkin pie
On and off the court, Shaq had the persona of a person that you simply couldn’t hate. Although brutally honest when required, he is a gem of an individual. Recently, the veteran appeared on NBA’s TNT program. Performing a Thanksgiving segment on ‘EJ’s Neat-O’, Shaq nearly started a pumpkin pie fight on the show. The victim, was 2-time league winner Kenny Smith. Have a look at the clip.

Along with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and others, Shaq addresses some of the best dishes of the festive season. Following this, the group is stationed for a Thanksgiving tasting. A big fitness freak, the Lakers legend wasn’t tasting the food, to which Kenny Smith took a dig at him by saying, “Shaq is just frightened.” He then went over to Smith, and nearly dunked his head in the half-eaten pumpkin pie. It was a hilarious sequence of events.

There is no doubt that Shaquille O’Neal is a character that we will never see again. If Charles Barkley was at the tasting, things would’ve been even more hilarious. Nonetheless, we were one step short of a rogue Thanksgiving!
