A video of her dominating a local basketball game has gone viral, which has left people in awe. Me’arah is following the footsteps of her father Shaquille O’Neal, and we can already see physicality being used during her game.

Meet Me’arah O’Neal, daughter of Shaquille O’Neal

Be it LeBron James’ son Bronny or Shaquille O’Neal’s children, the limelight follows them everywhere. She already plays for the UCLA Bruins and is the second O’Neal to do so. Her eldest brother, Shareef O’Neal played for a season there before transferring to Louisiana State University.

The video shows O’Neal using her height advantage to dominate the entire game, something Shaquille O’Neal was famous for.

She has amazing numbers for someone of her age, averaging  5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.5 blocks in 24 games.

Shaq’s eldest son, Shareef O’Neal, played 10 games for the LSU Tigers. He missed out a chunk of the season owing to injury and averaged 2.8 points and 4.4 rebounds. His best scoring game came up against Alabama, where he scored 6 points consisting of two field goals and two free throws.

The O’Neal family has a long history with Louisiana State University and it is only a matter of time before we see Me’arah follow the footsteps of her family members.

Although Shaq’s kids are into basketball, he has mentioned time and again how he makes sure his kids earn a degree. He once bashed his son for getting a bad grade.

Shaq mentions, “My son got a D on a paper one time, and he said he couldn’t find the information. I said, ‘Let me tell you something, buddy. You’ve got Google. You got Bing. What do you mean you can’t find it? When I was your age, I had to go to a neighbor’s house and buy an encyclopedia.”

Shaq has time again emphasized how he prioritizes good education. He went on to get his Bachelor’s degree from LSU’s College of Arts and Sciences on December 14, 2000.

Shaquille O’Neal was the number one pick during the NBA draft after leaving LSU. He signed a contract with Orlando Magic, which earned him around $40 million in salaries.
