The Warriors have been one of the surprise teams this season. With the emergence of Jordan Poole and other young talents, they rose into the playoffs. Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokic almost go at it
With the Nuggets having a slight lead, Jokic was walking away. Then Gary Payton II tipped off the Joker. That did not sit right with the reigning MVP. He decided to go right after Payton. But Curry and Poole came in time to calm him down and prevent any incident. With both the guards being the peacemakers, the refs quickly took the Joker away who appeared to be complaining about Payton’s actions.
Another repeat of Game 1 saw the Bay completely dominate the Nuggets. Despite Jokic proving his worth, the duo of Poole and Steph Curry seemed to be unstoppable tonight as they demolished Denver.

Poole kept up his impressive run in the playoffs with yet another stellar 29-point performance. He has been an outstanding stand-in for Steph who is coming off the bench. But tonight, Curry was at his best as well. The three-point king dug Denver’s hole deeper dropping 34 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 70%. Klay Thompson and Wiggins also piled on combining for 34 points.
Jokic was the lone hero yet again for the Nuggets. Without any support from the supporting cast, the Joker couldn’t manage much. He posted 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists in the blowout loss.

Barton couldn’t repeat his heroics from the last game as he compiled only 12 points shooting 5-15 from the floor. No other Nuggets player could cross the 15-point mark as they drop 2 games on the road.
