Tyler Herro can potentially be a great player for the Heat. Due to his on-court performances, his popularity has skyrocketed. His involvement in many mainstream projects has given him that leverage. He already had a song dedicated to him by rapper Jack Harlow. This time, he was in a commercial promoting the upcoming Marvel movie, “Thor: Love and Thunder”.

Herro was there, alongside “Thor” himself, Chris Hemsworth. Actress Tessa Thompson and director Taika Waititi acted as unwilling spectators in this advertisement. The Miami Heat star was showing off his eccentric fashion sense in the commercial. He surprised many by towering over Chris Hemsworth who stands at 6’3 inches himself.

In the commercial, they are admiring each other while the others are unwilling spectators to both Chris and Tyler. Marvel’s fourth edition of the Thor series is releasing on July 8, 2022. It will follow Thor, who will now have his face his demons post the events of the last Avengers movie.

How is Tyler Herro shaping up next season?

Hence, for Tyler Herro to be attached in such a way to this project increases his marketability more. This commercial was aired during the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.

Tyler Herro was on screens everywhere during the commercial break. But he missed the Conference Finals games almost entirely. The Sixth Man of the Year cut an anonymous figure during the entire series. He still averaged a good 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists last season. But against Boston, he played just three games and scored just 10 ppg with shooting splits of 30/22/50.

Despite that, he holds a lot of promise to the Heat. Miami head honcho Pat Riley has said, “The next step for him — and I think we’re seeing this in the league — if you want to win a championship and you wanna be a starter, you have to become a two-way player today.” Riley has said that he has not yet earned the starting spot.

It will not be a difficult road for Herro if he continues like this. In a matter of months, you might just see him being a starter for the Heat.
