The whole sports community and NBA fans know how competitive Michael Jordan is. The NBA legend has the habit of playing any sport with utter fierceness, even if it is a friendly game. While the former Chicago Bulls player might have walked out of the court long back, MJ is still as competitive as he was before. Fans have seen him in his full force while he was on the court, but his teammates, opponents, and friends have experienced his ambitious nature first-hand.

One of the most interesting examples would be the infamous rivalry between the Bulls and the Detroit Pistons. When the Pistons were consecutively beating the Bulls in several games, Jordan got frustrated and sought out trainer Tim Grover. ‘His Airness’ gained 15 pounds of muscles to hold out against the Pistons’ aggressive gameplay. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Fellow NBA legend Magic Johnson once revealed that he still regrets trash-talking Jordan during one of their practices as the Dream Team.

Johnson said that his team was leading the game in the first half, so Johnson mockingly told MJ to turn into Air Jordan or they would be facing defeat. His Airness took Johnson’s ‘advice’?and swept his opponents by doing a 360 dunk in that game. Given that Jordan is that competitive during just a practice game, it was evident that he would be leveling that up when it comes to business. Specifically, his tequila business, known as ‘Cincoro tequila’.

The idea of Cincoro first came up as means of having accessible tequila. They weren’t much optimistic about the brand’s success, thinking if the brand failed, they would simply have plenty of tequila for themselves. However, when the brand started gaining recognition, Jordan changed his aspect.
