The Dallas Mavericks seem to be in a slump once again as they have now lost three games in a row. After having gone on a seven-game winning streak, the Mavericks are back to losing ways. Even though Dallas is in the fifth position in the Western Conference, their 24-22 record might go down really fast given how the team has been struggling to win games. In light of this, a Mavericks star has spoken about the team’s much-needed upgrade.

According to Tim McMahon of ESPN, Luka Doncic has urged the Mavericks? front office to upgrade the team?s roster as the trade deadline approaches. However, billionaire owner Mark Cuban has denied these claims.

Should the Mavericks trade for another superstar?

Luka Doncic has been leading the team and also the league in points per game. Further, he is also leading the team in rebounds and assists as well. The Mavericks seem to be only one player away from a championship-contending team.

Luka Doncic has been doing everything in his power to keep the Mavericks afloat this season. Despite having next to no help on that roster. The next highest point average on the team is produced by Christian Wood, averaging 18.4 PPG.

The Mavericks had tried to bring another superstar to play with Doncic in Kristaps Porzingis. However, that move ended up being a bust and Porzingis was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie.
