Chris Rock hit back at Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith a few weeks ago with his Netflix special Selective Outrage. After Smith’s infamous slap on Rock during the Oscars, the comedian mostly remained silent. However, he let the world know about his feeling during the special which was a massive hit. While many showed support for Rock, it stirred some controversy. Even though it has been a while since the slap and the show, it is still being spoken about. Recently, Anthony Edwards was asked to pick between Smith and Rock.

Edwards helped the Minnesota Timberwolves win Game 4 and avoid a sweep against the Denver Nuggets. After the excruciating OT win, the young superstar made an interesting pick during the press conference.

Anthony Edwards picks Team Will Smith

In the Netflix special Selective Outrage,?Chris Rock had a lot to say about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. He called out the couple while talking about the Oscars slap. The comedian had a reality check for Smith, saying that the Academy Award winner practices “selective outrage”. According to a report from Yahoo, he said, “Will Smith practices selective outrage. Because what the f**k happened, everybody that really knows I had nothing to do with that s**t. I didn?t have any ?entanglements.’ I did not have any entanglements.”?

Rock then talked about Jada’s alleged affair. He said that he does not talk about things like this, but added he brought it up because the Smiths already talked about it on Jada’s show.

As things calmed down weeks after the show, Anthony Edwards was asked to pick a side out of nowhere after the 114-108 OT win. A reporter asked, “Are you Team Chris Rock? Or are you Team Will Smith?” The All-Star laughed and did not look like he wanted to answer. However, he picked Will Smith. Edwards said, “I might be Team Will Smith.”

Anthony Edwards hesitantly picked Will Smith’s side now. However, not everyone associated with the NBA feels the same. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one among them. The six-time NBA champion personally knows the Hollywood superstar. However, that did not stop him from criticizing Smith for his slap during the Oscars. Furthermore, he showed support for Chris Rock for his comedy special and was in attendance for the show as well.
