Long stated,?”I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public.”

The renowned actress criticized the Celtics management for making the private matter public, resulting in problems for her family. She added that her son had to grapple with understanding such a complex situation at a young age due to the public announcement from the Celtics management.

Long talks about the lack of support from the Celtics

Nia Long also took a shot at the Celtics for displaying no empathy for her family and her children. Long reckoned that she had to take her son out of school when the news broke out. Moreover, she described the moment as devastating for her.?

“If you’re in the business of protecting women-I’m sorry, no one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see If my children are okay. It’s very disappointing,”?said Nia Long

Long felt disappointed that the Celtics did not think about how it would affect Udoka’s fiance and her family. Meanwhile, the 52-year-old acknowledged the love and support she received from people after the news broke out. She shared that she felt like her heart would jump out of her body but the constant support from people protected her during tough times.
