“We’re Best Friends”: Ex-Wife Larsa, Who Once Admitted “Punisher” Scottie Pippen Traumatized Her, Had a Surprising Take on Their Relationship

Reality TV star Larsa Pippen has been quite vocal about her relationship with NBA legend Scottie Pippen. She talked about how they’re dealing with their split and their current situation with each other in an interview with People

She made several statements that made fans think about what she shared before. The former wife of the Chicago Bulls star had a surprising take on their relationship after she previously admitted that Scottie traumatized her.

During the interview, she was asked about what she shared on the show, ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’. She explained how they are dealing with the current circumstances from her perspective. 

“When it’s your family I think it’s just like a really touchy, emotional side to all of us. Scottie and I, you know we’re best friends, we had an amazing relationship for such a long time and I feel like a lot of people thought at the end, like you know our relationship was so bad but in fact, it really wasn’t,” Larsa described.

Throughout the series, we have seen what the couple was like when they were happily married in season one. The couple has four children together. In the aftermath of her separation from the NBA star, she relocated to Los Angeles.

“I was traumatized,” Larsa recalled. Furthermore, this had happened more than once according to Larsa. When Larsa and Scottie filed for divorce in 2016, she released several audio recordings of her reporting Scottie to 911 as, “aggressive.”

December 15, 2021, marked the finality of their divorce. With joint custody of their two youngest children in January of 2022, they both sought to improve their relationship. By looking at the interview, it seemingly appears that their issues have been resolved as of now.
