The Lakers were in command all game long; they held a lead at the half and extended it in the third quarter. However, the Warriors switched gears late game and went on multiple runs. On the other hands, the purple and gold let the game go and it came back to bite them.

Westbrook was the biggest signing this off season. Coming off a season averaging a triple double, the expectations were high. But it seems like Russ is yet to understand his fit on the Lakers team. He ended the game with just 8 points with 4 turnovers. Fans took to twitter, and they were not kind.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 67 points. Despite that, the Lakers couldn’t get the win as the Warriors’ bench overwhelmed the remaining Lakers. No other Laker even crossed double digits, with Carmelo Anthony being the next best scorer at 9 points. With the game in their hands till the end of the third quarter, there is no excuse for such a turnaround to happen.

As for the Golden State Warriors, Curry made his impact despite a bad shooting night. He recorded a triple double with 21 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Jordan Poole had a strong second half as he put up 20 points as well. However, the veteran duo of Andre Iguodala and Bjelica combined to score 27 points off the bench.
