Russell Westbrook has faced some criticism for his recent performances. While taking on the Houston Rockets, he had done well to help out the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he has had his share of bad moments in the game. With the turnovers on the rise for the night, the fans went at Brodie yet again.
The Lakers have suffered quite a bit this season. Not only have they failed to put on the expected results, but injuries have always kept them at a disadvantage. Moreover, the Westbrook trade is yet to give them results as he hasn’t fit in the best way. He has had both good and bad nights in the Lakers jersey. However, having both moments in one night is something that seems quite unbelievable.

Hence, his numbers were surely on the show. While he has certainly impressed on that end, his turnovers took a major climb as well with 7 for the game.

What did Russ show Lebron last year that made him say, “yea bring him to LA”? Or do they just have a great personal relationship? Cause WE all knew Westbrook is cooked. How bron ain’t know? #lakeshow

Brodie has had a shaky season with the Lakers so far. His numbers have gone down, and he is yet to find his role. With constant changes in the lineup for the Lakers, Westbrook is often caught struggling to adapt. However, he has done well for the most part. There have been clear improvements if compared to the beginning of this season. Even LeBron James said he has no problem with the way Russ is playing.
The former league MVP is driving more to the rim and is also taking fewer shots. While that is certainly a good point, there have also been some negatives. Westbrook is yet to get his turnovers in check. What hurts the team is the number of unforced turnovers he commits due to his play style.
Moreover, in some games, Westbrook struggles in all forms and fails to make his impact.
