The Lakers have suffered quite a bit this season. Not only have they failed to put on the expected results, but injuries have always kept them at a disadvantage. Moreover, the Westbrook trade is yet to give them results as he hasn’t fit in the best way. He has had both good and bad nights in the Lakers jersey. Brodie has had a shaky season with the Lakers so far. His numbers have gone down, and he is yet to find his role. There have been clear improvements if compared to the beginning of this season. Even LeBron James said he has no problem with the way Russ is playing.

The former league MVP is driving more to the rim and is also taking fewer shots. While that is certainly a good point, there have also been some negatives. Westbrook is yet to get his turnovers in check. What hurts the team is the number of unforced turnovers he commits due to his play style.

Moreover, in some games, Westbrook struggles in all forms and fails to make his impact.
